Florent Carmin

Hailing from Annecy, France, Florent Carmin showed remarkable athleticism from an early age. He began water skiing at just four years old, quickly rising to become a dominant figure in the sport. Over two decades, he claimed three European titles and twelve French championships in Barefoot Water Skiing. His talents extended to freestyle snow skiing, where he competed as part of the French national team.

At 26, Florent transitioned from athletics to filmmaking, producing and starring in his first barefoot water-ski film. This project sparked a successful career in sports filmmaking, resulting in over 120 short films that captured the thrill of extreme sports, including sky surfing, snowboarding, and scuba diving. His films earned international acclaim, reaching audiences in more than 60 countries.

Florent’s work expanded into television, contributing to productions like Edenquest with Pamela Anderson, Destination Paradise, and Ushuaia. He has directed and produced TV commercials and shows across multiple countries, cementing his place in the entertainment industry.

Over the years, Florent also carved out a unique voice in photography. Known for his dynamic angles in sports photography and mastery of lighting in fashion, he has worked on campaigns for iconic brands like Club Med, Pepsi, and Breitling. His work has been featured in leading publications such as VSD, Paris Match, and Maxim.
